I don't know how easy it will be for you to find updated information on skateboards unless you really take the time to look for a long period of time for a really good website.
I have no idea on magazines you would use for skateboards. I don't know for any books but I'm sure there are many books out there on skateboards.
I can't recommendend any people to interview about skateboarding and who would know a lot about the board that I know of unless you wanted to go to a high class place in another state?.
You may want to check out the way they made the skateboard, and also how they came up with the idea.
You probably know alot about skateboards how you go skateboarding a lot and you know how to use the board and what kind of tricks to use and how to stop yourself.

I use to skateboard and it is hard to master it. I don't know if you will be able to find new topics each week about new inventions of skateboards, but maybe you should try to find out the science behind skateboards for example the making of one? I magazine you might want to try would be Transworld. I am not sure what internet source or book might help you. Good luck searching your topic!

Skateboarding
Welcome to the BIG wide world of skateboarding! My name is Gardner Paetow, I chose this topic because of my personal relationship to it. I love to spend my free time downtown with my skateboard and freinds. Everything from bombing hills to jumping curbs, just for the thrill.
Its a constantly growing field of sports. The latest boards range from only two wheels, up to eighteen, inventing new ways to carve and shred the pavement. Innovators have taken it as far as motorized skateboards, or boards build to bomb a mountainside. The bravery and poor judgment required to invent or master any skateboard is a constantly growing topic of discussion.
Searching the web for information on skateboards is a simple task, given the array of both boards and boarders. The vast information about skateboards I hope will help teach us all a little more about the way it all works.
In the world of skateboarding we have competitions and races, skate parks and X-games. This topic is so broad and powerful I'm sure I wont have trouble with the next few months of blogging!
Its a great field to challenge me because of my devotion to it. I cant wait to learn more and hopefully improve my knowledge and skills as well as yours. I found one of the best things about skateboarding is that no matter where you go or what your style, you can always find another boarder ready to grind a sidewalk or dodge cars. (I don't advise that you try) And that's the beauty of skateboarding, no matter who or where you are, there's always a new challenge, a new test, And fear is NO limitation.
